SVM Merlot
SVM Merlot is a 100% Merlot with a light to deep red hue, showing aromas of raspberries and gooseberries layered over hints of vanilla and hazelnut chocolate. Medium to full-bodied, it is made from 25-year-old vines grown in stony-clay red soil over slate subsoil, cultivated with bio-agricultural practices. Aged 8–12 months in 225-liter oak barrels of varying use, it has an ageing potential of 8 years. Best served at 15–17 °C with poultry, game, duck fillet, or beef casseroles.
