Corazón de Lago

Bodegas Lecea: A Legacy of Rioja Winemaking  

Corazón de Lago is made from 100% Tempranillo grapes sourced from selected vineyards older than 25 years. The wine is crafted entirely by traditional artisanal methods: whole grapes are placed in the lagar, foot-treading is done after about fifteen days as was done 100 years ago, followed by manual pressing in the trujal. From 20,000 kg of harvested grapes, approximately 4,000 bottles are produced under this name. It shows intense fruity and floral aromas with a tasty and long finish. Ideal to pair with red meats, roasts, and cheeses. Recommended serving temperature is between 12º and 13ºC.
