Chianti Rufina Riserva

Castello Del Trebbio  

Made primarily from Sangiovese (90%) with Merlot and Syrah (10%), this wine comes from carefully selected grapes grown at 450 meters altitude on clay soil with good drainage. The vines are trained with Guyot and spurred cordon systems, harvested manually, and fermented spontaneously in stainless steel tanks. It ages about 20 months in a combination of barrels and tonneaux, followed by at least 6 months in bottle.
