Brunello Di Montalcino Docg Vigneto Manachiara - Cru
This Brunello di Montalcino from the Manachiara vineyard is made from 100% Sangiovese grown at about 350 m altitude on quartz-rich sands and Pliocene clays. Fermented and macerated for 32 days, it ages 8 months in French oak tonneaux and 16 months in large Slavonian oak barrels, followed by 18 months in bottle. The wine shows deep ruby color with garnet highlights and powerful aromas of fruit, balsamic, spice, and toast. On the palate, it is full-bodied with dense tannins and great persistence.
