Made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes from vineyards in Madonna di Como, Alba, at 400 m a.s.l. on calcareous, quartz-rich soils; hand-harvested in October, destemmed, crushed, fermented with 12–14 days maceration, malolactic in steel, aged 6 months before release; bright, deep color, aromas of rose, violet, ripe cherry, small red fruits, forest floor; fresh, balanced, with fine tannins; pairs with traditional land-based dishes, red meats, and aged cheeses.
