If you accept, the winery will be responsible for the sales, shipping and subsequent communication with you, the customer, to realise the transaction.
Grown on the south-est hill hangs of the sunny Saint Magdalena-hill near Bozen, our St. Magdalener wine (Schiava/Vernatsch+Lagrein) gets its the unique taste by the sandy-humous-clay soil and thanks to our over 70 year old vines.
The big variety of different Vernatsch-types like the noble-, the Tschaggele-, the middle- and the big-Vernatsch-grapes of our 60-80 years old vines produce a top quality-wine with outstanding maturity level and therefore special minerality and colour.
That’s why our St. Magdalener, beside the fuller body, has an increased potential of aging!
The Lagrein-ratio of ca. 10% makes the St. Magdalener classico even more full and intensifies its body and elegance.
That makes our wine very recognizable: the intensive and brilliant rubinred colour.
Its fruity-fresh taste reminds of mature cherries and plums, while in the nose you can smell roses and a touch of violets.
In the mouth the St. Magdalener shows its round, but complex body: a charming, mild acid and very soft tannins. We recommend this wine to meat and deer, but it goes also perfectly with vegetarian dishes or cheese.
