Trefiano DOCG BIO

Trefiano DOCG BIO

Tenuta Di Capezzana

Trefiano di Capezzana is a rare and prized Tuscan Carmignano DOCG wine created by Vittorio Contini Bonacossi in 1979. Made from grapes grown in two centuries-old vineyards with clay-schist soil, the blend is 80% Sangiovese, 10% Cabernet, and 10% Canaiolo. It is aged 18 months in tonneaux and bottled for at least one year. The wine has a deep ruby red color, elegant aromas of ripe red fruits, sweet spices, vanilla, and licorice. The palate is balanced and harmonious with delicate tannins and a lingering spicy finish.
