AZAMOR 2019 is a specially crafted blend of classic French and Portuguese grape varieties. Each selected parcel of fruit is fermented and matured separately with the final blend created just prior to bottling. With abundant red fruit aromas, a soft velvety round mouthfeel, and a soft tannin persistent finish. This is a great introduction to the AZAMOR range. AZAMOR can be drunk before, during and after the meal.

All grape varieties were fermented in separate stainless steel 10 tonne tanks for up to 10 days at temperatures between 22ºc to 24ºC. Given the small harvest, it was possible to soak the skins before fermentation started. It was then pressed before going through malolactic fermentation.
AZAMOR 2019 was aged for 7 months in our cellars - around 20% was aged in used French and American oak barrels, and then blended seven months prior to bottling in December 2021. The wine was launched in March 2022.
